They were able to start sooner than expected. Arrived on time, cleaned up everything at the end of each day. Did an excellent job. We also had some damage to the interior of our home and Alex had one of his guys fix everything. We are extremely pleased.

Don't call anyone else. I did. I called 7 different companies. They all spent 10 minutes or less on my roof (some didn't even go on the roof. They just ran a roof report and couldn't be bothered.) Alex who owns Built2Last came out and spent an hour inspecting my roof and exploring every issue. He took photos and we discussed options. No hard sell. No low-ball quote from a couple of guys that are doing side jobs--and I found that to be common. Professional, clear, transparent business practices, highly responsive. We replaced our roof and it looks amazing. Alex works with his team--hands on--and they are meticulous about how they work, cleaning up, and leaving the house exactly as it was when they arrived. They use a leaf blower at the end of every day to clean up dust and debris. They run a magnet around the entire house to pick up nails, etc. Always on time, always professional. They don't take excessive breaks or waste time. I think we were so fortunate to have found Alex and Built2Last. Oh--and if the roofer you hire says they can start immediately or next week--move along. A good roofing company will schedule you and they're busy, Call Alex and you can relax.

My new roof was recently complete and I am so happy with my experience working with Alex and his crew. His price was reasonable and he was able to update my roof with the proper, modern parts. His crew made sure to keep things clean at the end of each day. He also fixed a wood beam that had severe wood rot due to runoff from the roof. Very professional and quickly responded to my requests. I am so glad I worked with Alex and will refer Built 2 Last to my friends and family!

Alex did a tremendous job on our roof repair. I have used Alex 3 times for roofing issues at my house. First he replaced a cap on the furnace vent that was leaking when it rained, which was on the second floor. No more leak. He then replaced asphalt shingles on a large section of our house and lastly replaced wood rot fascia on second floor and matched the paint color perfectly. He has always been reliable, pleasant and above all, honest. He leaves the job spotless and clean and his prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend him.

BUILT 2 Last roofers did an incredible job repairing and replacing our condominiums tarnished roof after leakage from a rainstorm. Not only did they do the job quickly throughout rain patches, they also worked hard to repair our roofs foundation which was damaged by termites and were very competitive with their pricing. Alex and his team are to trust with your roofing needs.

Alex and built 2 last roofing provided me the best experience with any contractor or construction project. His rates were competitive (roofs are expensive regardless!) and Alex was so responsive! He was polite, respectful, timely, and finished on time. I’ve found no debris around yard like I have with other projects. Our reroof project just was completed. Thank you to Alex and Built2Last.

I own 2 duplexes in San Marcos. I hired Built 2 Last Roofing to install a new roof and over 200 feet of fascia on one of my properties. Alex and his crew did such a beautiful job I decided to have them re-roof my other duplex as well. They were helpful, informative, and transparent throughout the entire process. They did a good clean up as well.

Alex with built to last roofing was fantastic! We had numerous leaks all in one week, and he showed up the day after I called. They threw in temporary waterproofing to hold us until they had availability, then surprised us by opening a window for us early! We were in a rush, and worried about further leaks, so the extra work, and timeliness went a long way, and once the work was done, the product was great. Should last another 30-50 yrs. He referred a guy to do the solar area, which he helped get the Warrantee to pay for. Excellent all around!

With all the rain lately, all the roofers a super busy, but Alex was still very responsive when I was getting the estimate. With the back log of roof issues happening he gave me a 2 week (weather dependent) schedule, but said he would let me know if a spot opened up sooner. Lucky for me it was the first day the rain stopped i got it fixed. The crew that came out to do the work was awesome and cleaned up very well and left everything in my yard better than I had it. Highly recommended.

Built 2 Last roofing was fantastic at inspecting our flat roofs (two homes) with multiple levels and provided a detailed report of the repairs and maintenance we needed. They also completed the repairs quickly during the rainy season, which was very important to us. Happily give Built 2 Last five stars!

I highly recommend Alex and Built2Last Roofing for any commercial or residential roofing needs in the San Diego area. He did excellent work adding an overlay to our rental property and resealing flashings on our primary residence. He was timely, professional, and adapted quickly to our needs based on a limited budget. We will continue to use Alex for all of our future roofing needs.
